Snapshot Trek: The Devil’s Coachroad

Snapshot Trek

Date: 4th May 2017

Location: The Devil’s Coachroad (Slieve Beg)

Elevation: 590 metres

Trekker: Paschal McCracken

READ: Trekking the Tour Du Mont Blanc with Scott Mairs

“It was very steep, and it’s covered in a lot of loose rocks. Careful footing is a must. It definitely takes an experienced hiker and requires your full, undivided attention. I went by myself because I was confident enough but really, another person there would have been a great help. The push was tough but well worth it getting to the top, especially looking down at what you conquered. Recommended!”

Highlight: “Overcoming the sheer steepness of it, and doing it by myself.”

Many thanks, Paschal!
