Trekking NI travelled to the capital city to tour the popular Divis Mountain. The group began the morning taking shelter at the Divis Coffe Barn from the relentless wind and rain. After the weather eased, the group strolled up the main path surrounded by fields of green. The defined trails allowed the group to escape the mud and guiding them along the vast open landscape they were rewarded with views of Belfast City, where as the song goes “it always rains but it’s always pretty”. A perspective a grey sky did not deter as the group were in good spirits throughout as they completed the ridge trial with spectacular views down upon the urban jungle.
