Trekking NI welcomed 2023 with a visit to the famed Tollymore Forest Park. There was a sense of excitement amongst the group to see each other again following the Christmas break but also to welcome an influx of new members. The group sauntered through the Tullymore and Drinns Circular enjoying a catch up, meeting new people and looking forward to the year ahead whilst taking in the impressive forest complete with terrific trees, river melodies, mesmerising waterfalls and historic bridges. A portion of the trail saw a delightful presentation of the majestic mountain ranges that surrounded. This outing was a delightful treat to mark the beginning of the new year and set the tone for the new experiences it will bring.
